Performance

Tineco iFLOOR 3 is a powerful vacmop capable of sucking all types of filth scattered on hard floors. A 21.6V, 3,000 mAh battery drives a 150W motor, delivering a run-time of 25 minutes in ECO mode and 18 minutes in the MAX mode. The ECO mode is suitable for fresh stains that are easy to mop and clean. The MAX mode delivers more suction and is perfect for stubborn spot stains that are old and dry. The low-noise operation (<78 decibels) deserves a mention.

BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro, on the other hand, is a corded appliance driven by a 4.4 amps (~528 Watts) motor. CrossWave Pet Pro is slightly more powerful than the iFLOOR 3. And this is the reason why the Pet Pro is suitable for both hard floors and area rugs. Here you get two modes – Hard Floor mode and Area Rug mode. Loud operations may be a turnoff but that’s how it is with the BISSELL.

My Verdict: It would have been a tie but since BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro works on area rugs and Tineco iFLOOR 3 doesn’t, the former gains an edge here. However, if you are only looking for a hard floor cleaner, go ahead with Tineco iFLOOR 3.

Ease of Use

Tineco iFLOOR 3 is one of the easiest wet/dry vacuum mops to use. The cordless functioning lets you deploy it instantly in a few seconds. You just need to fill the solution tank, recline the machine up to 142°, switch to either ECO mode or MAX mode, and move it forward (press the trigger) and backward (release the trigger). That’s all you need to do for a thorough cleaning.

It takes about 4 +/- 0.5 hours to charge the battery. You’ll have to use the 3-in-1 docking station for charging. The CWT capacity (0.6L) lasts long in ECO mode but drains faster in the MAX mode. The LED display tells you when the brush roll is clogged, CWT is empty, DWT is full, the battery is low/full, and self-cleaning mode is ON.

BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro is also easy to use, but not as handy as the iFLOOR 3. With the Pet Pro, you’ll have to use the 25-ft cord. So if you are moving to another room, you again need to unplug and plug the cord. The basic functioning is the same – filling CWT, reclining, switching between Hard Floor mode and Area Rug mode, moving forward and backward. High-capacity CWT (0.83L) lasts long in the Hard Floor mode but drains quicker in the Area Rug mode.

The swiveling head is common in both appliances. It helps in better maneuvering through narrow spaces. Lastly, these appliances may not clean properly at the edges. Therefore, you may have to make one more pass at a different angle (90-degree) to clean the area properly.

My Verdict: Tineco iFLOOR 3 wins here for its cordless functioning and LED display.

Ease of Maintenance

Wet/dry vacuum mops require extensive cleaning and maintenance after every cleaning session. You’ll have to thoroughly clean the DWT, floater, filter, brush roll, brush roll cover, chamber, and nozzle.

With Tineco iFLOOR 3, you get a 3-in-1 cleaning tool that’s useful for removing hair from the brush roll and cleaning DWT, chamber, and filter. Just empty, wipe, and rinse to keep machine components clean and fresh. The HEPA filter traps particulates, thus releasing clean air into the surroundings. To activate the self-cleaning mode, use the 3-in-1 docking station. Fill the CWT with clean water, place the machine on the docking station, and press the button on the handle to start the self-cleaning mode. Tineco offers a 2-year warranty on the appliance.

With BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro, you don’t get a 3-in-1 cleaning tool. But that’s not much of a problem as the machine is fitted with a tangle-free brush roll. Moreover, the pet hair strainer in the DWT collects solid filth in one place, making it easier for you to discard trash.  The rest of the cleaning procedure is the same. The self-cleaning is present here as well. Keep the machine on the rinse & storage tray, recline it, pour water in the rinse funnel, and switch on the Hard Floor mode. BISSELL offers a 3-year warranty on the appliance, one more than the standard.

My Verdict: It’s a tough one. But BISSELL wins here for its 3-year warranty.

Portability

Tineco iFLOOR 3 weighs around 9.9 lbs and BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro weighs around 11.5 lbs. So yes, it’s more convenient to carry iFLOOR 3 than Pet Pro. Moreover, the former is more compact than the latter, barring the depth where iFLOOR’s dimension slightly exceeding CrossWave’s.

When transporting these appliances in your car, you just need to detach the handle from the body using a screwdriver. Now you can take these vacmops wherever you want – to your office, shop, garage, or anywhere else. CrossWave Pet Pro features a carry handle on the front that ensures a firm grip, whereas, in iFLOOR 3, you’ll have to hold it from the stem.

My Verdict: Tineco iFLOOR 3 wins here for its lightweight and compact design.

Versatility

As mentioned earlier, Tineco iFLOOR 3 is ideal for hard floors of all types – laminate, linoleum, vinyl, solid & engineered wood, marble, stone, concrete, and tile. Talking about trash and stains, it can deal with pet messes, beverage spills, makeup blunders, mud patches, and solid leftovers like food particles.

The same is true for BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro. And there’s one major advantage here – CrossWave works well on area rugs for regular cleaning. But don’t expect extraordinary carpet cleaning performance from a wet/dry vacuum mop because of the moderately-powered motor. For deep carpet cleaning, you’ll have to invest in a full-sized carpet cleaner.

My Verdict: For just hard floor cleaning, iFLOOR 3 is the winner. Overall, BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro is the winner.

Customer Reviews

Tineco iFLOOR 3 wins accolades for its stylish design, powerful performance, ease of use, cordless functioning, long run time, and impressive customer support. For some users, incompatibility with area rugs is a disappointment. But this is not a drawback as the company clearly states that the iFLOOR 3 is for smooth floors and not rough surfaces like area rugs.

BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro is a hit amongst buyers who prefer a powerful wet/dry vacmop for everyday pet messes. They praise Pet Pro for its versatile performance, ease of use, and 3-year warranty. The downsides are – a high price tag for a less feature-packed appliance and tiring after cleanups (applies to iFLOOR 3 as well).

My Verdict: It’s a tie. The winner is the one that fulfills your requirements.
