Detailed Comparison: What’s the difference between Tineco FLOOR ONE S3, Breeze, and the iFLOOR 3?

Tineco FLOOR ONE S3 vs. S3 Breeze vs. iFLOOR 3 Comparison
Graphical comparison of FLOOR ONE S3, S3 Breeze, and iFLOOR 3

Performance

Tineco FLOOR ONE S3 and S3 Breeze are similar when it comes to performance, only minor differences exist. The S3 runs on a 220-Watt motor whereas the S3 Breeze is driven by a 190-Watt motor. However, the suction power is almost the same in both appliances. You’ll only witness a difference in the MAX mode. The iLOOP™ Smart Sensor technology in these appliances detects dirt and filth and automatically adjusts suction power in the AUTO mode (not in the MAX mode) for maximum efficiency. And, honestly, the intelligent suction control works remarkably well.

Both appliances feature a 4,000 mAh Li-ion battery. They have a run-time of around 35 minutes in the AUTO mode and 25 minutes in the MAX mode. The S3 comes with a HEPA filter whereas the S3 Breeze utilizes a dry filter to expel clean air out of the dirty water tank.

Tineco iFLOOR 3 is a beast when it comes to performance. The 220W motor vacuums efficiently. You get two modes here – the ECO mode (similar to the AUTO mode) and the MAX mode. A 3,000 mAh battery runs the appliance, delivering 25 minutes of run-time in the ECO mode and 18 min of run-time in the MAX mode. The noise production is less than and equal to 78 decibels. The presence of a HEPA filter ensures the discharge of clean air out of the appliance.

My Verdict: The FLOOR ONE S3 wins for its 220-Watt motor and iLOOP™ Smart Sensor technology.

Tineco FLOOR ONE S3

Ease of Use

The FLOOR ONE S3 and the S3 Breeze aim at providing effortless vacuuming and mopping experience to the users. Besides splendid performance, these two Tineco vacmops ensure ease of use at every step. The LED screen displays notifications related to cleaning modes, battery charge, water tanks, roller blockage, etc. The dirt monitoring loop fluctuates between red and blue, the former denoting dirty floor and the latter confirming clean floor. The app integration lets you monitor real-time performance, listen to voice prompts, troubleshoot, and maintain the appliances. However, you cannot give voice commands here.

One major difference between S3 and S3 Breeze is the charging mechanism. The S3 comes with a docking station for base charging whereas the S3 Breeze has a storage tray that lacks base charging.

Tineco iFLOOR 3 is also easier to operate, but not as easy as operating the above two Tineco floor washers. One major advantage is the presence of the LED display that communicates important information related to cleaning modes, battery charge, full DWT, empty CWT, roller blockage, etc. iFLOOR 3 also features a 3-in-1 docking station that supports charging, self-cleaning, and docking. Tank capacities are also a bit higher (CWT – 0.6L, DWT – 0.5L). No app connectivity and Wi-FI support here.

My Verdict: Definitely FLOOR ONE S3 for being the most feature-packed vacuum mop.

Ease of Maintenance

After every vacuuming and mopping session, cleaning the appliance inside out is important. If you don’t, the residue may damage components and may also cause bad odor and harmful bacteria and mold buildup.

To clean the two FLOOR ONE S3s and the iFLOOR 3, empty and rinse DWT, clean and rinse the filter and the floater. Further, remove and wash the brush roller cover and the brush roller. Use the 3-in-1 cleaning tool that has bristles and a blade to clean the DWT, brush roller cover, brush roller, and chamber. Lastly, place the appliances on the Self-Cleaning Storage Tray and press the one-touch self-clean button to activate the Self-Clean mode. The self-cleaning process will take around 40 seconds to complete. That’s all about the maintenance. Tineco provides a 2-year warranty on the appliances, which is standard in the category.

Since you get app support and LED display in FLOOR ONE S3 and S3 Breeze, keeping up with the maintenance becomes easier as you receive prompts through voice commands and notifications. In the iFLOOR 3, you get a few important notifications on the LED display, but not as much as we get to see in the S3 vacuum mops.

My Verdict: It’s a tie between the FLOOR ONE S3 and the S3 Breeze.

Portability

All three Tineco vacuum mops discussed here weigh around 9.9 lbs with empty water tanks. These appliances are light enough for anyone to move around without much effort. You can recline them up to 142° when cleaning low-lying furniture like coffee tables and couches. The self-propelling system provides the push needed to move the machines forward. To lift the machines, just grab the handles and take them anywhere – basement, upstairs, or downstairs. The handles are not collapsible, though. However, you can detach them easily with the help of a screwdriver. Just insert it to press the spring and release the handles.

My Verdict: It’s a tie here.

Versatility

Dry/wet vacuum and mops are designed for hard floors like laminate, linoleum, vinyl, solid & engineered wood, marble, stone, concrete, tile & grout, and others. The same is true for these Tineco vacuum mops. These appliances work fine on hard floors, leaving them clean, disinfected, shiny, and dry.

Some argue that you can use wet/dry vacmops on rugs and carpets. However, this is not the case, especially with these Tinecos. These are not designed for rough floors like carpets and rugs. Even Tineco says the same. It might clean the surface but you won’t be satisfied because there’ll be leftovers and lots of soaked solution in the carpets.

Talking about the types of stains, you can use Tineco FLOOR ONE S3, S3 Breeze, and iFLOOR 3 for all new and old stains like pet messes & hair, food and beverages, grease, makeup, dirt, grime, mud, and mold/fungus.

My Verdict: It’s a tie, again.

Customer Reviews

Tineco FLOOR ONE S3 is the most feature-packed appliance among the three. Hence, the most expensive as well. The users love it for its iLOOP™ Smart Sensor technology, ease of use, ease of maintenance, run-time, and large water tank capacities. The only drawback, according to a few customers, is the cost. However, it’s a value-for-money product. You get what you pay for.

Tineco FLOOR ONE S3 Breeze is similar to the S3. Buyers equally love this product as it offers the same features and convenience at a lesser price. The only major difference is in the charging mechanism. And it’s not a big deal, according to the majority of the customers.

Tineco iFLOOR 3 is a lot cheaper than the above two. Those who don’t fancy app support can go ahead with this vacuum mop. However, the absence of iLOOP™ Smart Sensor technology results in a lesser run-time which is a concern for some buyers. Other than this, the customers love it for its impeccable performance and ease of use.

My Verdict: Pricewise, iFLOOR 3 is a winner. Featurewise, FLOOR ONE S3 wins the game.

Which one will you buy: FLOOR ONE S3, S3 Breeze, or iFLOOR 3?

Here we come to the end of the detailed comparison between FLOOR ONE S3, S3 Breeze, and the iFOOR 3. We hope you’ve got the clarity required to purchase the desired vacuum mop with confidence.

Go ahead with the Tineco FLOOR ONE S3 if budget is not a constraint and you need all the features.

FLOOR ONE S3 Breeze can be your choice if you are satisfied with the device charging mechanism.

The Tineco iFLOOR 3 is perfect if you’ve got a limited budget and performance matters more than convenience.
